DR. JASON AANENSON
Dr. Jason Aanenson is a graduate of Augustana College and Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Aanenson was raised in northern Minnesota and began practice in Freeman in 1998 and in Parkston in 2001. Dr. Aanenson, his wife, Jill, and his sons, Tryg and Thor, reside in Freeman. Dr. Aanenson is a member of the American Dental Association, South Dakota Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and has served as president of the Southern District of the South Dakota Dental Association. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the South Dakota Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Aanenson enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, boating, playing golf, and watching all sorts of sports.
DR. NICK MATTILA
Dr. Nick Mattila is the newest member of our dental team. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Mattila was raised in northern Minnesota and has been seeing patients in Freeman and Parkston since 2010. Dr. Mattila and his wife, Nicole, reside in Sioux Falls. Dr. Mattila enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, rock climbing, or just relaxing with a book or a movie.
DENTAL ASSISTING TEAM
Our dental assisting staff of Lori, Amy, Carrie, and Kera can answer any questions you might have ranging from simple appointments to technical dental treatment procedures. They will help you prepare for your visit, answer your questions about post-operative care, and have even been known to hold a hand during dental treatment.
DENTAL HYGIENE TEAM
Patti, Cindy, Anita, Teresa, Britney, and Mackenzie are all graduates of the USD School of Dental Hygiene, while Tammie attended hygiene school at the University of Oklahoma. Our dental hygienists emphasize good home care of the teeth and gums, and provide comfortable and thorough preventive and therapeutic dental treatment in a relaxed setting. We are proud of our hygiene staff’s committment to quality and the outstanding care they provide to all the patients in our practice.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT TEAM
Our office manager, Brenda, and Paulette each greet you with a smile when you walk in the door in either Freeman or Parkston. They can help you make appointments, answer questions about your dental treatment plan, and assist you with financial arrangements.
