Dr. Serena

Dr. Serena Whitesell is a graduate of Buena Vista University and The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. Dr. Serena was raised in a small town in northwest Iowa and began practicing dentistry in Sioux City, near her hometown, after graduating dental school. In the spring of 2018, Dr. Serena began practicing in Freeman and Parkston. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Serena is dedicated to growing her knowledge and insight through consistent continuing education and looks forward to new learning opportunities. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Serena enjoys readings, exercising, and crafting; most of all, she loves spending time with her family including her husband Alex, their two children Calvin and Mary, and her family in Iowa. Dr. Serena looks forward to serving the Freeman and Parkston communities for many years to come as both a devoted dentist as well as an engaged member of the community.
